Common pricing questions
The commercial boundary should be as reviewable as the evidence. These answers describe the billing and entitlement behaviour implemented today.
- What happens at the end of the 14-day trial?
- Stripe charges the monthly or annual plan amount on day 15. A card is required to start a paid trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
- Can I use Embargo without entering a card?
- Yes. Free is a permanent plan with no card requirement. It includes 25 individual screenings each month, 5 saved counterparties, entity profiles, and the weekly regulatory digest.
- Can I see the product before choosing a plan?
- Yes. The Guided Demo is a 30-minute evaluation of screening, monitoring, evidence, coverage, and implementation fit. It is not a separate subscription tier.
- Do you support annual billing?
- Yes. Professional is $990 per year and Business is $2,990 per year—the equivalent of two months free compared with monthly billing.
- Are sources or jurisdictions sold as add-ons?
- No. Source coverage is not unbundled into paid jurisdiction packs. The Coverage page documents which sources support screening and which support regulatory-change monitoring, including their evidence boundaries.
- What does Business add to Professional?
- Professional contains the complete human workflow. Business raises monitored-counterparty capacity from 250 to 2,000 and adds REST API access, guided onboarding, priority support, and procurement and security documentation.
- Can I cancel or get a partial-period refund?
- You can cancel from billing settings. Access continues through the current paid period; partial billing periods are not refunded. The Terms of Service contains the full billing conditions.
